SALAMANDER CONVINCES AT TRADE FAIRS IN INDIA – SUCCESSFUL PRESENTATION OF THE NEWLY DEVELOPED WINDOW AND DOOR SYSTEMS
Salamander scored at two consecutive events in India with an innovative range of products and a modern trade fair presence. The ZAK Doors & Windows leading trade fair, which took place from 7 - 10 December in Mumbai, and the Acetech architecture trade fair organised in October in Bangalore proved to be ideal communication platforms. At both trade fairs, Salamander Window & Door Systems (www.sip-windows.in), one of the leading system providers and manufacturers of high-quality energy-saving PVC window systems, focused on the new profile systems for windows, doors and sliding elements developed specially for the Indian market.
As part of the internationalisation strategy which is currently being implemented, Salamander has been driving its entry into the Indian market since 2016. By now, the subsidiary “Salamander Window & Door Systems” founded in India has obtained spacious office and storage spaces in Pune (Maharashtra). The German system provider therefore used participation in the trade fairs to further expand its network in the Indian market.
Salamander caused a great sensation among the trade fair visitors with the innovative product portfolio based on the latest technical experience and developed specially for the Indian market. “In particular, the newly developed evolutionDrive 60 sliding window system and the likewise newly developed Streamline 60 casement system delighted the professional visitors and guaranteed that the trade fair stand received massive numbers of visitors. The systems presented offer the greatest possible degree of design freedom and are perfectly coordinated. Uniform design, the same glazing and sealing systems, identical glass insets of 20 mm and many other product benefits significantly increase the economic efficiency in window installation and the benefit for the consumer. In the premium segment, a 76 mm sliding window system and an 82 mm lift-up sliding door system are also stocked in the warehouse. The systems presented are 100% produced in Europe and are manufactured using a special, high-quality hot country formula,” reports Tobias Klinkhammer, Director of Salamander Window and Door Systems (P) Ltd.
Valuable discussions with architects, project developers, window manufacturers, and experts from the window installation industry yielded a promising resonance with the new Salamander product range and the very successful forthcoming Indian market activities. “Salamander's presence at the two trade fairs was very important for gaining an additional foothold in the Indian market. We gained very important insights and are certain that we have taken the right route for the future,” Götz Schmiedeknecht, CEO and Managing Partner of the Salamander Group, reports on the internationalisation measures.
